Saudi Minister Arrives in Islamabad Amid Pakistan-India Tensions

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel al-Jubeir, has arrived in Islamabad as part of diplomatic efforts to ease escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, sources confirmed.
According to diplomatic sources, Adel al-Jubeir is scheduled to meet with his Pakistani counterpart to discuss the current situation and explore ways to de-escalate the ongoing conflict.
Saudi Arabia is reportedly playing an active role in mediating between the two countries. Sources also revealed that the visiting minister was in New Delhi yesterday, holding meetings with Indian officials.
